My clinic in Tokyo is collecting used baby clothes for evacuees in Northern Japan. So far we have got donations from around Tokyo and Kansai and deven as far away as Vancouver, Canada. We will be delivering the clothes directly to the evacuation centers in Tohoku. We are only collecting clothes for babies and toddlers because: babies are the most vulnerable, kids outgrow their clothes the fastest at this stage, the evacuees have limited access to laundering facilities, and thus far there has only been a focus on donating diapers and formula. Please donate whatever you can, but please wash all articles before submitting. You can follow the collection and distribution on the Japan Facebook Page “Cigogne” where they will be uploading pictures of whatever is delivered.

Even though it is my wife carrying my baby, I am still not the most patient person when it comes to sympathizing with people who are sick. One can get weary of constant moaning, sighing and sudden bouts of nausea, dizziness and fatigue. In order to better cope though, I have figured out a few strategies that makes my wife better, and makes me seem like a more sympathetic character:

1. Tell her to sleep whenever she can, it really makes a difference.

2. Tell her to always carry some juice or candy with her. When those glucose levels go down is when she feels the worst. Just a small candy makes her fine again, go figure.

3. Constantly ask if she needs to go to the bathroom so she doesnt surprise you with a “I need to go to the bathroom now” while you are going 130 kmh down the highway.

One reason I became so passionate about birth was the realization that many pregnant women simply don’t know that they have options. The reality is that there are options! Whether you choose to birth in the hospital, in a birth center, or in the comfort of your own home, it is so important to select the right birth team. Choose people who will support your wishes and respect your decisions when it comes to your birth.

（以上　BabyCenterHPより抜粋）

more important thing is you have to know yourself. You need to take medical check and then you should be understanding about you and your baby’s health.

Please don’t miss understand . If you want to select your birth team , sometimes you need to be examined
